Carousel Birthday Party

When my daughter told me she wanted a carousel party, I immediately loved the idea.  Are you familiar with the old saying, "The cobblers children have no shoes?"  It’s something my mom used to say.  Basically, it means that I am constantly planning other kids parties, so it is hard to spend the time and energy on my own kids.  I tried to pull something together and I think it turned out perfect.  She loved it and that's what is most important.  It is so easy to get caught up in this "bigger is better" mentality.  I try to stay focused on making my daughter smile without stressing or overwhelming myself.
