Jennifer Atkins married John Holland III on a blissful August evening. The fairytale event was held at Firefly Garden's elegant white barn in Midlothian, Texas. Jennifer and John exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony followed by dinner and dancing with their loved ones. Adding their own unique elements, John and Jennifer was able to share their love story with all of their guests. Jennifer and John's special day was a traditional wedding with a white and pink color palette. While the neutral tones were soft and airy, Jennifer added some unique floral elements to show off the couple's fun personalities. With a floral filled arch, Jennifer and John exchanged traditional vows in a romantic ceremony. For the reception, pink napkins and gold beaded chargers made up the elegant table setting. The couple spared no detail when it came to making the day special for both of their families. Coming from a long line of John Hollands', the couple was gifted the family cake cutting knife passed down from three generations. Wanting to incorporate her family traditions as well, Jennifer displayed her mother's wedding dress at the guest book table. Jennifer and John knew how important it was to their families to carry on their rich traditions as they also create their own. You could feel the love in the room as the two families became one. Jennifer used inspiration from the Royal Wedding, and wanted to feel like a princess on her wedding day. With a floor length, white satin dress, Jennifer was stunning as she walked down the aisle to her new husband. She switched out her tiara while getting ready for a cathedral length veil that was breathtaking. With a grand exit, Jennifer and John's got the royal treatment on their big day! Vendors:

What happens when a bunch of vendors and wedding professionals come together to celebrate each others work? A big, grand event, that's for sure! The Southern Social Issues 3 Launch Party was one straight out of a magazine itself. We had so much fun collaborating with the featured pros in this issue to create a memorable night for Melissa and her staff. Getting to highlight the work of such deserving professionals is always one of our favorite parts of what we do, and when Melissa came to us with big ideas for the launch of the new magazine, we knew this was going to be a special night. After touring the venue, Umbra Winery in Springtown, Texas, the theme hit us right in the face. Our design and styling team went to work on a Spanish, Mediterranean theme that showcased the unique architecture and beauty of the venues natural state. Incorporating beautiful Spanish textures, blue, white, and splashes of pink, we were really able to capture a very fun, summery vibe to fit the hot Texas night. Giving Melissa the mic, she began the night with the reveal of the magazine cover. A suspenseful moment for all that erupted in cheers, as Melissa uncovered a beautiful floral cover of The Southern Social Magazine designed by Events by Jade, Wedfully Yours, Brown Fox Creative, and captured by Chua Lee Photography. Melissa also honored her hardworking featured pros that make the magazine what it is. After the applause, the real fun was about to begin. It was time for all of the vendors to shine. Guests were filled with music by TBA Music and Ms Deejay Teejay. The entertainment didn't stop there, as guests sampled delicious street tacos from Premier Events and Staffing, adult ice cream from Dizzi Brands, and sipped on smoked cocktails by DFW Bartending. The nights entertainment went even farther with fans, floral hairpieces by Alba Dahlia Floral, and cigar rolling by DFW Cigar Roller. Fun and laughter filled the air as the sunset over the vineyards at Umbra Winery. Thank you to BeatBox Portraits and Take 4 Films for capturing the memories for us to reminisce on until next summer! Take a look:We hope these pictures paint a clear picture of how much we love our job. We get to create completely new designs and themes all while pushing ourselves to take risks. We never want to get stuck doing the same things over and over again. We hope you enjoy browsing as much as we enjoyed planning, designing, and styling. Archives
