What happens when a bunch of vendors and wedding professionals come together to celebrate each others work? A big, grand event, that's for sure! The Southern Social Issues 3 Launch Party was one straight out of a magazine itself. We had so much fun collaborating with the featured pros in this issue to create a memorable night for Melissa and her staff. Getting to highlight the work of such deserving professionals is always one of our favorite parts of what we do, and when Melissa came to us with big ideas for the launch of the new magazine, we knew this was going to be a special night. After touring the venue, Umbra Winery in Springtown, Texas, the theme hit us right in the face. Our design and styling team went to work on a Spanish, Mediterranean theme that showcased the unique architecture and beauty of the venues natural state. Incorporating beautiful Spanish textures, blue, white, and splashes of pink, we were really able to capture a very fun, summery vibe to fit the hot Texas night. Giving Melissa the mic, she began the night with the reveal of the magazine cover. A suspenseful moment for all that erupted in cheers, as Melissa uncovered a beautiful floral cover of The Southern Social Magazine designed by Events by Jade, Wedfully Yours, Brown Fox Creative, and captured by Chua Lee Photography. Melissa also honored her hardworking featured pros that make the magazine what it is. After the applause, the real fun was about to begin. It was time for all of the vendors to shine. Guests were filled with music by TBA Music and Ms Deejay Teejay. The entertainment didn't stop there, as guests sampled delicious street tacos from Premier Events and Staffing, adult ice cream from Dizzi Brands, and sipped on smoked cocktails by DFW Bartending. The nights entertainment went even farther with fans, floral hairpieces by Alba Dahlia Floral, and cigar rolling by DFW Cigar Roller. Fun and laughter filled the air as the sunset over the vineyards at Umbra Winery. Thank you to BeatBox Portraits and Take 4 Films for capturing the memories for us to reminisce on until next summer! Meagan and Cameron didn't spare a single detail when it came to exchanging vows on a beautiful July Saturday in Texas. Meagan and Cameron were wed under the twinkling lights at Dove Ridge Vineyards surrounded by 250 of their closest friends and family. Over the years Meagan and Cameron had been building their support system to create the ultimate team to help them through this thing we call life. While trying to juggle college, football, volleyball, academics, jobs, relationships, and a social life, Meagan and Cameron leaned on the encouragement and support of their teammates to help them get through all the chaos. Little did they know that these teammates would introduce them to each other and ultimately stand next to them on their wedding day. Guests could feel how important family and friends mean to Meagan and Cameron on their big day. Love hung in the air as the couple wed. When Meagan brought us her pretty pink color palette, we made sure her vision came to life. Her day was filled with various shades of bright and blushing pinks that only screamed love and happiness. Every little elegant detail was incorporated to help tell Meagan and Cameron's love story, which included Meagan's fun love of donuts and the couples newest addition to their family, they pup, Finn Waffles. Our inspiration for this design was a classic pink, with a romantic twist. Adding the dark wood of Dove Ridge Vineyard's reception hall, a looming romantic feel filled the room and made the pink pop in a unique way. Incorporating different hues and shades of pink in the florals by Vivienne and Vine, we were able to turn a classic wedding color into a dream lush of blooming colors. When Meagan told us her dream wedding was full of pink, we took up the challenge to incorporate as much pink as we could. We used pink details in florals, linens, a pink lounge set, and even pink donuts to paint the room pink for Meagan and Cameron's magical day. Meagan and Cameron's Dream Team:

Over the years, weddings have become some of the most extravagant parties around, but what if we told you that less can be more on your special day? This shoot was designed to do exactly that! We created a minimalist design that extenuates the beauty of every little detail. Because we used a simple, minimal design, each and every element is very important as it makes up a large part of the overall design. When creating this shoot, Emerson Venue was the perfect location to use as a blank canvas. Using a beautiful, crisp white venue was very important to keep this design simple. There is nothing more modern than a white brick wall to add texture to this shoot. The contemporary white table and chairs allowed us to create straight lines that draw attention to the table scape. The florals by Wed Fully Yours beautifully displayed the various shades of mauve and pink in our color palette. Our vision was to let the florals come to life by being one of the only color elements. The tableware was a simple, elegant design, even incorporating my grandmother’s silverware. Being able to use a special piece made this shoot even more special to me, and we encourage bride’s to use statement pieces that have a special meaning to them. Adding a solid color backdrop was the perfect element to make this entire table pop! Our beautiful model, Gina, shined during our shoot. Chua Lee captured her smile so vibrantly. Her soft, feminine look by Grand Slam Glam complimented our minimal design. You can find more about making this design come to life in the newest edition of The Southern Social magazine which is on sale now. You will see this shoot featured on the cover of the magazine as well as an inside spread. We are so honored to be a part of this team and create a beautiful design to inspire brides! Our inspiration stemmed from dark, earthy tones including deep greens, maroon, and black. The white linens added soft, bridal elements to a very powerful color palette. Using various unique air plants, succulents, and other exotic plants, The GreenHouse 817 helped us create Jenna’s earthy, bohemian vision. The rustic, industrial aesthetic of Brik Venue, enabled us to submerge guests in a night full of love and excitement. Rachel Elaine Photo was able to perfectly capture the uniqueness of this couple and their special day. We enjoyed the challenge of creating such an adventurous and gorgeous design. This beautiful wedding is one to remember. Congratulations to Jenna and Colby! Planner + Designer: @eventsbyjadeb

When we were working on the inspiration board we thought of unique color palettes, such as lavender mixed with blush which came to life with the florals by Out of the Garden. The tablescape was one of our favorite features with florals hanging from above with the beautiful, Firefly Gardens as our backdrop. Innovative features to show our future clients is always in our minds when creating the details, which is why we adore the calligraphy seating chart handcrafted by Brown Fox Creative. Lounges have become a fantastic way to add a personal touch to your event, these pieces from Junk & Disorderly are so lovely. As with any event, we love a unique touch with the drinks you serve guests! This cocktail is also a beautiful addition to the delectable and classic wedding cake by Gold Ribbon Confections. Our model was absolutely stunning in her gown from Elizabeth Lee Bridal and hair/makeup by Beauty By Yari. I love the way Flavia Watkins Photography captured the essence and details of this shoot!
