HELLLLOOOO 2019! To kick off the year, we want to share a few trends we think we will be seeing more of this year! We adore a classic color palette but we think 2019 is the year of COLOR! Is there such a thing as a "wedding trend crush" because if so, we are crushing hard!! We believe we will see more hue variation, more intense pigments, and brighter shades! Color is so fun to incorporate into your wedding from florals, cakes/desserts, bridesmaid dresses, invitations, decor- 2019 brides have so much to work with! We love this trend and cannot wait to see what color we can dream up with you. Let's do this 2019!!!!
Each year, Pantone chooses a color for the Color of the Year and this year's choice was Living Coral. We think Pantone is on the right track with this choice! Pops of corals instead of classic pink is such a fun way to add variety and diversity to your wedding!
Florals can be a momentous way to display your color palette, but we think cakes will be the next feature to become more colorful this year! Over the past few years we have seen bakeries step up their wedding cake game and we are loving it! Your wedding cake can become a huge artistic display, or a simple way to add creative depth to your wedding! In 2018, we saw a huge rise in signature cocktails at weddings but this year we believe we will see colorful cocktails as well!
2019, we are so ready to see each new wedding trend and continue to watch the classics be reinvented! We love the idea of more color in weddings!
Christmas is such a magical season. When envisioning this styled shoot it was second nature to plan around the season. As beautiful as a warm spring wedding is, winter weddings are just as stunning! Florals by R Love Floral were stunning with deep reds and rich greenery. Calligraphy by Proper Letter Co. produced incredibly romantic signage! There could not have been a more beautiful backdrop than Kadee Christmas Tree Farm in this styled shoot. Thank you Southern Bride for featuring us for this styled shoot, it was a dream!

Claire's wedding was nothing short of magical. I am all for details, especially when they have a meaning behind them! Grant proposed to Claire on a plantation in South Carolina and to commemorate their engagement- they incorporated pineapples into their wedding! Claire's wedding was so pretty and the florals by Vella Nest Floral definitely contributed to the beauty of this wedding. Their wedding was perfectly captured by Rachel Elaine Photo, and she captured the most beautiful hair and makeup by Something You. We will surely be dreaming of these fun and unique details for years to come! Congratulations Claire and Grant!

Abigail was a bride on a mission, she was very committed to doing the wedding herself but needed some help with the details. Abigail used my Wedding Consulting package and the results were amazing! In typical Texas fashion, it had not rained all summer but the day before their nuptials the rain began and continued throughout their wedding day, giving their wedding pictures a gorgeous backdrop! The couple chose a morning wedding so they could jet off to their honeymoon ASAP. This was a great opportunity for a breakfast spread like Chick-Fil-A chicken minis, a donut wall, and a coffee bar by Jedidiah Coffee. A lot of Abigail's details were outside of the box which gave their wedding such a fun unique twist! Their wedding was housed inside of the breath taking, The Nest at Ruth Farms. The venue was brought to life with florals by Kate Foley Designs. The details were stunningly captured by Heather Thompson. We love a good, down to earth, boho wedding and bring us all the bright colors! Congrats Abigail and Austin!

This summer, I read this book called "Wonderlust" by Lauren Blakley. The main character was trendy and fun and the location was set in Paris. I loved reading about all the flower markets, coffee shops, delicious breads and decadent chocolates. It was so inspiring that I decided to recreate what I imagine Paris looking like for this Professional Wedding Guild luncheon. Brik Venue was the perfect backdrop for my rentals and decor! The florals by Vella Nest Floral were stunning and perfectly captured what I had in mind. The food from Awesome Catering and the desserts from Amuse Bake Shop really made you feel Parisian!

We hope these pictures paint a clear picture of how much we love our job. We get to create completely new designs and themes all while pushing ourselves to take risks. We never want to get stuck doing the same things over and over again. We hope you enjoy browsing as much as we enjoyed planning, designing, and styling.
